When the opening night of a new play goes horribly awry, the actors are forced to frantically improvise the plot onstage. Clashing egos, tested friendships and a series of disastrous misunderstandings combine to create the most offensive, shocking and accidental piece of theater ever to debut in front of a live audience.
Play premiered as the opening night film at the 2013 Wiliamsburg International Film Festival in New York City. It won Best Screenplay at the festival, as well as the 2013 NYC Bootleg Film Festival and the 2013 LA Broad Humor Festival. It also won Best Actress at Williamsburg.
Play has also screened at the London International Film Festival, the NYC Independent Film Festival, and the Jakarta International Film Festival
Recently it returned home to Toronto to a sold-out crowd at The Royal Cinema as part of the Canadian Film Festival, where it won the Audience Choice Award, its sixth award.
